  • The tour guide will take you to visit the real Castle of Shakespeare's Hamlet.
  • We spend around 2 hours at Kronborg giving you time to explore yourself and making time for the slow walker to keep up during the guided tour.
  • At Kronborg, you will be introduced to Danish history concerning the Castle from the Kalmar Union at the end of the dual Monarchy of Denmark-Norway, which ended back in the mid of 1900 century.
  • On the way from Kronborg to Hillerod, the tour will take you through the beautiful North Zealand landscape with forests and small villages.
  • Arriving in the town of Hillerod there will be around 3 hours in Hillerod from the bus arrives till departure.
  • Explore, at your own pace, the incredible Renaissance Frederiksborg Palace.
  • Lunch is not included. But we can help you find lunch at a nice local café with both Danish and international lunch classics. Or if you prefer, a stroll on the local walking street might be another lunch option.

Pickup

• • Pickup is provided from most hotels in the central part of Copenhagen with parking for the bus and the cruise terminal. And is included in the fare.
  • No pickups at private accommodation and Airbnb. Or locations around the city hall square.
  • If pickup can not be provided at your accommodation, you will be offered alternatives not to fare from you.
  • Please note, that pickup begins up to 45 minutes before the announced tour starts.
  • You can book seating on the bus. Just contact: seat@opheliatours.com.
  • The seat booking is free! But you must include: Your name, date of tour, and seat number; according to the seat plan in the gallery.
  • Seats will be distributed as "First come, first served"!

Other worth to know information regarding the tour:

• • Infotainment!, that's what we call it. Not so many facts that you lose yourself in years, Kings, and wars. And neither so much humor and fun that it becomes a comedy. But a gentle mix of facts presented in an easy-going way and a twinkle in the eyes, by our excellent driver and guide.
  • Your driver will be English speaking and also guide you at both Kronborg Castle and the cathedral of Roskilde.
  • You will not miss out on your daily tour of the fitness center. No need for cardio exercise on this day. 6000 steps are reached before the end of the day, and you will have to walk up spiral staircases in medieval Castles crossed cobble-covered streets, and walkways to get to the site
  • And with a lot of fresh air and a taste of the Danish weather. So for clothing, do as the Danes say; "There is no bad weather, just the wrong clothing!"

BE AWARE

• People in wheelchairs should not choose this tour.
• On this easy tour, users of cane or walking frames are most welcome. But be careful in wet or humid weather as cobblestones will be slippery.
• Please note, that the driver might refuse you on the tour, should you, despite our recommendation choose this tour. In this case, no refund will be granted.
• And luggage is not possible to bring!! Only small handbags can be fitted in the vehicles.
