Slow tour - The Cathedral and Palace

• You will be on a guide tour of the Roskilde Cathedral both inside and when weather permits a walk around outside.

• Having the opportunity to, on you own hand see the magnificent renaissance place of Frederiksborg build in the 1700
  century by one of most famous kings of the at that time, dual monarchy of Denmark-Norway.

• The tour focus on travelers who wants to spend more time at the locations and those who are slow walkers but still can climb

• Our guide will take you through the history of location visited in both fact and not without a some humor and fun-facts.

• The tour guide will take you to visit the Roskilde Cathedral, the final resting place for almost all Danish Christian
  Kings.

• We spend around 2 hours at the Roskilde Cathedral giving you time explore yourself and making time for the slow walker to keep
  up during the guided tour.

• At Roskilde Cathedral the guide will introduce you to some of the histories surrounding selected Danish Kings and their rule of the monarchy of both Denmark and the dual monarchy Denmark-Norway.

• On the way to Hillerod, where we the Frederiksborg Palace. We drive through the rural side of the island of Zealand.

• Arriving in the town of Hillerod. You will have time to (3 hours), on you own hand and at your own pace, experience the

• incredible renaissance Frederiksborg Palace.

• In the town of Hillerod you can also have your lunch (you will have around 3 hours in Hillerod from the bus arrives till
  departure.

• Lunch can either at local café or a maybe a sandwich from the local bakery. Which you can enjoy while looking a cross the
  lake surrounding the Frederiksborg Palace.

Pickup is provided from hotels with adequate parking space for the tour bus.

Other worth to know information regarding the tour:

• Info-tainment!, that's what we call it. Not so many facts that you loose yourself in years, Kings, and wars. And neither so humor and fun that it becomes a comedy. But a gentle mix of fact presented in an easy-going way and a twinkle in the
  eyes, by our excellent driver and guide.

• Your driver and guide will be English speaking and also guide you at Roskilde Cathedral.

• You will not miss out on your daily tour to the fitness center. No need for cardio exercise on this day. Be prepared form walking.

• Travelers whom uses walking frame, walkers(rollator) or walking stick(cane) can enjoy this tour as we do things in clam pace.

• The driver/guide is not trained for ensuring that walkers or walking frames or alike is correctly engaged for safe
  using. This is the user own responsibility. But the bus can carry these items when in storage/transport position.

• Fresh air and a taste of the Danish weather is part of the tour. So for clothing, do like the Danes says; There is no bad
  weather, just the wrong clothing!

• Lunch is not included. But we can assist you to find lunch at a nice local café with both Danish and international
  lunch classics. Or if you prefer. The guide will direct you to the local Danish style bakery which can offer both sandwich and of

BE AWARE, People in wheelchair should not choose this tour. User of cane/walking stick, so be very careful on wet cobble stones as these are extremely slippery when wet.

• Please note, that the driver might refuse you on the tour, should you, despite our recommendation choose this tour. In this case no refund will be granted.

• And luggage is not possible to bring!! Only small handbags can be fitted in the vehicles.

• Please be aware that tours with fewer than 7 bookings are most likely to be cancelled. (of course it's 100% money back in case of cancellation). Alternative dates will often be offered.
