Go on an interesting tour of Danish and Scandinavian history from a Danish perspective. Packed with insight into Danish history and culture.

A Day tour out of Copenhagen in the surrounding landscape of both farmland and city

• You will be pickup at the Cruise Terminal or Langeline, and the driver will take you to Hillerod, arriving around for drop 1200.

• Latest pickup at Cruise Ship is 1030.

• In Hillerod you will meet with the guide and rest of the tours guest on the bus.

• There are seat available for you on the bus. (you can book seat where you like, cost free)

• In Hillerod there are 2 hour. And there is the opportunity to, on you own hand see the magnificent renaissance place of Frederiksborg build in the 1700 century by one of most famous kings of the at that time, dual monarchy of Denmark-Norway.

• If you need launch also. Shorten your visit at the Frederikborg Palace and lunch either at local café or buying sandwich and enjoying those with a scenic view of the shores of the lake surrounding the Frederiksborg Palace.

• Hereafter the bus drives through the beautiful landscape with farming, forest and small villages till the tour reach Roskilde.

• Our guide will take you through some of the history of Denmark in both fact and not without a some humor and fun-facts.

• Next will a guided tour of the Roskilde Cathedral getting some history of the cathedral and seeing some of the most distinct Christian monarch of Denmark.

• Also in Roskilde you will be brought all the way to the shore of Roskilde fjord (bay of Roskilde).
  This is where the Vikings ship museum is located. Right there is shipyard and small harbor full of reconstructed viking ships. At least in the summer period from April till the end of September. Where we sometime are lucky to see the replicated viking ship cruising on the water of the bay.

• From here the tour group returns to Copenhagen with various drop off. Leaving off by your ship no later than 1830/0630PM.
  

Pickup information:

• You will be pickup at the Cruise Terminal or Langeline no later than 1030(AM)

•  The driver will take you directly to Hillerod, arriving around for drop 1200.
• There is no room for luggage, only small handbags will be accepted.

• Info-tainment!, that's what we call it. Not so many facts that you loose yourself in years, Kings, and wars. And neither so humor and fun that
  it becomes a comedy. But a gentle mix of fact presented in an easy-going way and a twinkle in the eyes, by our excellent driver and
  guide.

• Your driver will be English speaking and also guide you at the cathedral of Roskilde.

• You will not miss out on your daily tour to the fitness center. No need for cardio exercise on this day. 6000 steps is reach before the end of the day, and you will have walk up spiral staircases in medieval Castles crossed cobble stone covered streets and walk ways to get to the site

• And with a lot of fresh air and a taste of the Danish weather. So for clothing, do like the Danes says; There is no bad weather, just the wrong clothing!

• Lunch is not included. But we can assist you to find lunch at a nice local café with both Danish and international lunch classics. Or if you prefer guide will direct you to the local Danish style bakery which can offer both sandwich and of course Danish pastry.

Pickup is provided from Copenhagen Cruise Terminal and Langeline cuise ship pier. Both pickup and drop off is include.

• BE AWARE, People in wheelchair or using walking frame or walkers should not choose this tour. Users of cane/walking stick should be aware that cobble stones are extremely slippery when wet.
  
• Please note, that the driver might refuse you on the tour, should you, despite our recommendation choose this tour. In this case no refund will be granted.
• And luggage is not possible to bring!! Only small handbags can be fitted in the vehicles.
• Please be aware that tours with fewer than 4 bookings (for the entire main Summer tour) are most likely to be cancelled. (of course it's 100% money back in case of cancellation). Alternative dates will often be offered.
